PINAid is a non-profit organization committed to empowering impoverished women, children, and communities by providing them with access to food, clean water, education, healthcare, and entrepreneurial opportunities. Our ultimate goal is to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice across the globe, particularly in hard-to-reach areas.
We believe in treating both the causes and effects of poverty, which is why we provide clean water to children and communities, equip children with quality education, and offer life-sustaining healthcare, including mental and emotional support.
Our goals are to save lives, defeat poverty and achieve social justice across the globe, particularly in hard-to-reach areas.
Our projects include:
• Providing food, clean water and life-sustaining healthcare
• Equipping children with quality education and vocational skills
• Supporting women in leadership development and disaster preparedness
• Creating entrepreneurial opportunities for underprivileged youth
• Responding to natural disasters and conflicts with emergency aid and support
We are committed to making a positive impact on the world and creating a brighter future for all.
PINAid is dedicated to transforming the lives of the world’s most vulnerable populations in 12 of the poorest and hardest-to-reach countries in East, South, West Africa and Asia. The need for our services is dire, and we are committed to making a real difference in these communities.
For example, Sierra Leone in West Africa is one of the world’s poorest countries. Nearly half of its population lives below the poverty line, and 70% of its youth are unemployed. Only 41% of Sierra Leonians are literate, and the life expectancy for men is a mere 39 years old. Sierra Leone also has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the world, with an estimated 1,165 deaths per 100,000.
In India, over 230 million people live in poverty, and 33 out of every 1,000 babies born, die before their fifth birthday. The situation is made worse by the fact that at least 50% of raw sewage across India is untreated and pumped directly back into rivers and lakes, causing over 200,000 preventable deaths each year, according to the Indian government’s own statistics.
The need for our services in these communities is undeniable, and we are committed to providing access to food, clean water, education, healthcare, and other life-changing resources. By working together, we can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.
At PINAid, we take a comprehensive and collaborative approach to addressing the needs of impoverished communities and individuals. We work closely with local partners, stakeholders, and communities to design and implement sustainable solutions that have a lasting impact.
Our process begins with conducting need assessments to identify the most pressing issues facing the community. From there, we develop programs that address those needs in a holistic way, focusing on providing food, clean water, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities to help break the cycle of poverty.
In times of crisis, we respond quickly and effectively to provide emergency aid and support to affected communities. We work with local organizations and partners to ensure that resources and funding are distributed in the most efficient and transparent way possible.
One of our top priorities is working with and empowering women and girls, who are often more severely affected by poverty, conflict, and natural disasters. By prioritizing their needs, we can improve the lives of entire communities.
Our overall goal is to create sustainable change in the communities we serve. By working together with local partners and stakeholders, we can achieve this goal and transform lives for the better.
The heart of our mission beats with the belief that poverty is a grave injustice against humanity. We are driven to eradicate extreme poverty by targeting its root causes, with the ultimate goal of eliminating it entirely. Our work focuses on regions where access to essential resources is scarce during times of crisis, and we prioritize empowering women and girls in our efforts to break the cycle of poverty. However, we recognize that this is only the beginning. Our operations span multiple countries in East Africa, South Africa, West Africa, and Asia, where we collaborate with local partners and stakeholders to create sustainable change that transforms communities. We firmly believe that this kind of lasting impact can only be achieved through collective efforts. Thus, we work closely with those on the ground to bring about a world where every individual can live a life free from the scourge of poverty.
We operate in the following countries:
East Africa: Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda
South Africa: Lesotho, Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe
West Africa: Sierra Leone
Asia: Bangladesh, India, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines
We believe that by working together with local partners and stakeholders, we can create sustainable change and transform lives in the communities we serve.
